Animed™ Antiseptic Wound Gel (sterilize) is transparent and amorphous which can be applied to irregular-shaped wounds. The antibacterial ingredient polyhexamethylene biguanide hydro- chloride (PHMB, non-antibiotic) is introduced to achieve long-term physical antibacterial properties through its cationic properties, reducing risk of infection. With the isotonic formula design, it allows the gel to be well-applied to the wound bed. It is gentle, non-irritating and soothing. The water-absorbing polymer combined with repairing and moisturizing factors can actively release the water in the hydrogel to the wound, and moderately absorb excessive wound exudate to form a moist layer on the wound bed. The gel protective layer protects new granulation tissue, provides a moist healing environment, and facilitates wound healing.

Animed™ Antiseptic Wound Gel (sterilize) can be used to soften black scabs, necrotic tissue, or newly formed tissue, providing a moist healing environment. Its indications include: wounds with scabs, open wounds (wounds with low to moderate exudate), pressure ulcers, and first or second-degree burns or scalds.
