Animed™ Antiseptic Skin Barrier provides protection through protective liquid. Upon applica- tion, the liquid forms a breathable, water-resistant, and low-irritation protective membrane over the applied area. This product is suitable for small wounds, scratches, or area prone to friction.

Suitable for shallow wounds, post-operative wounds, pododermatitis, and incontinence care. The waterproof and breathable properties can reduce the impact of external influences on the applied area, thereby achieving protection results.

[Product Description]
Animed™ Antiseptic Wound Gel (sterilize) is transparent and amorphous which can be applied to irregular-shaped wounds. The antibacterial ingredient polyhexamethylene biguanide hydro- chloride (PHMB, non-antibiotic) is introduced to achieve long-term physical antibacterial properties through its cationic properties, reducing risk of infection. With the isotonic formula design, it allows the gel to be well-applied to the wound bed. It is gentle, non-irritating and soothing. The water-absorbing polymer combined with repairing and moisturizing factors can actively release the water in the hydrogel to the wound, and moderately absorb excessive wound exudate to form a moist layer on the wound bed. The gel protective layer protects new granulation tissue, provides a moist healing environment, and facilitates wound healing.
[Function Use and Indications】
Animed™ Antiseptic Wound Gel (sterilize) can be used to soften black scabs, necrotic tissue, or newly formed tissue, providing a moist healing environment. Its indications include: wounds with scabs, open wounds (wounds with low to moderate exudate), pressure ulcers, and first or second-degree burns or scalds.
